Garbage and poor roads at Ambegaon, Pune leads to no buyers

The most remote area on the outskits of Pune: Ambegaon have been deserted with almost no buyers turning in. The area of Ambegaon Pathar on Katraj-Dehu Road bypass is plagued with garbage problems. Heaps of garbage is dumped along the road which connects the highway and Sai Chowk in Ambegaon Pathar. The area is located on the boundary of the Ambegaon Budruk Gram Panchayat’s and Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) jurisdiction. The area is struggling for proper road, water and dumping of garbage.

The rates have fallen since 2015 and at its lowest in 2017. Rates have fallen to 2800/- per sq ft with ready possession. The construction quality in the area is very poor. 70% of societies do not get proper water and electricity.
