The government department at the top of the defaulters list is the police departments in Ludhiana. There are almost 28 police stations in Ludhiana, who are individually sent notices to repay the tax.
The MC officials have also sent notices to Food and Civil supply departments to repay their rent amount. The MC officials have been having a tough time in receiving responses as previously sent notice around April , 2016 to the commissioner was also ignored by the department and the tax is still unpaid.
