17th Asia Construct International Conference & Exhibition-2011to be held on 13-15Dec

New Delhi: Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC), a body set up by the Planning Commission, in partnership with the construction industry, is organizing the prestigious 17th AsiaConstruct International Conference & Exhibition from December 13 to 15 at the India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. In the upcoming event representatives and delegates from across 17 Asian Nations and a large number of leading Indian construction companies including, material manufacturers and suppliers, service providers, government bodies, developers, architects, consultants, industry practitioners, members of academia will participate in a big way, CIDC said in a statement.
The event is supported by the Planning Commission, Government of India, and Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB). Malaysia, Korea Research Institute Human Settlement (KRIGS) South Korea, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, Building & Construction Authority, Singapore, Research Institute of Construction & Economy (RICE) and Japan, among others. For this year’s event, Republic of Togo is a partner nation and states including North East Region, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Delhi are the partner states.
In an attempt to make the conference a memorable event, it has been structured into two segments including Asia Construct Conference and Asia Construct Exhibition.
The conference will be inaugurated by the honorable Speaker of the Lok Sabha Ms. Meira Kumar, as its Chief Guest and valedictory session will be addressed by Shr. Vilas Rao Deshmukh, Hon’ble Minister of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences. The Eminent and distinguished dignitaries for the event will be Shri. Kamal Nath, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Urban Development, Shri. Vincet H. Pala, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Water Resources and Minority Affairs, Prof. Saugata Roy, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Urban Development, Shri. Paban Singh Ghatowar, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region and various other prominent personalities and Industry Practitioners, the statement added.
