According to Arunvir Singh, CEO YEIDA 6,029 plots and flats will be located in sectors 18, 20, 22A and 22D. Allotment of this property was done between 2009 and 2013. “We will be handing over possession to allottees holding plot sizes of 300 to 500 metres each,”, he said.
According to YEIDA, allottees are facing a delay in securing possession of their plots due to farmer agitations in the region. Farmers from 77 odd villages in the area were agitating for a hiked compensation of 64.7% for their acquired land.
