338 residents live in 95-year-old dilapidated bldg

The Chairman of Mumbai Building Repair and Reconstruction Board (MBRRB), Vinod Ghosalkar recently surveyed the 95 years old cesses buildings of Ahmed Sailor in Naigaon – Dadar. The Chairman also talked and guided them about the problem.

These cess buildings, which are in ‘A’ category of Naigaon-Dadar, are in critical condition in which 338 families lives and 42 non-residential. On request from residents of these buildings, Ghosalkar inspected Ahmed Sailor’s cessed buildings from 1 to 8 and talked with residents.

At this time Chairman guided the residents about the difficulties and the problem of the redevelopment of buildings. He said that two to five stages have been repaired since 2013, of these 8 buildings, which have a base of bottom +2 and bottom + 3 floors.

The buildings have gone beyond the ambitious limits and they need to be restructured, he added.
