35 illegal constructions in Jammu

Jammu: On this Monday the Jammu and Kashmir government disclosed that there are 35 illegal constructions in the Jammu district. Answering to the question raised by the BJP member Ashok Khajuria in the Legislative Assembly on Monday, Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand said that there are 35 illegal colonies in Jammu district.
Deputy CM added that, there thirteen colonies have been legalized in the period of 2002 to 2010.
However, there is no such proposal for legalization of Rajiv Colony, Peer Kho in Jammu East constituency, he said adding Prem Nagar, Gujjar Nagar are legalized constructions and Qasim Nagar colony is under the process of regularization by the Jammu Development Authority (JDA).
