Another dimension is being linked to the beauty of Ajmer city, which is being developed as a smart city. Parks will be developed as smart parks in eight major colonies of the city. Open air gyms, walking track, swings and other facilities will be available in these parks. 22 lakhs will be spent on each park. A provision of 1.80 crores for park development has been made.
Minister of State for Education, Vasudev Devanani on Thursday launched the works of Smart Park scheme in Gulmohar Colony Vaishali Nagar and Deendayal Upadhyaya Park under the smart city scheme with the mayor Dharmendra Gehlot. In the event organized on this occasion, Devanani said that the smart city plan costing about Rs.1947 crores will change the picture and fate of Ajmer city. The work being done by Smart City Ltd for the beauty and development of the city will open new doors for tourism development here.
He said, “In the last four and a half years, more than one thousand crore works have been done in the Ajmer North constituency. This amount has been spent on the development of material resources in the city, including roads, water, electricity and aesthetics. The State Government has taken special care with the amenities of the people of the city along with the beautification. Under the smart city scheme, 8 parks will be developed as smart parks. Open air gym and walking track, swings and other amenities will be provided. People will get special facilities for recreation and exercise.”
