Aadhar Housing Finance Limited, a segment focused housing finance company based in Mumbai and spread over seven states of India Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar etc. Now has recently also launched 9 branches in Gujarat at Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Surat, Himmatnagar, Surendranagar, Nadiad, Vapi and Bhavnagar. They aim to provide housing finance to the lower income segments, whose monthly income are between Rs 5,000 to Rs 25,000.
In future the company is planning to expand their business and services in more 40 locations located in the tier 2 and 3 cities through a hub-n-spoke model. According to central government estimates a shortage of more than 18 million homes in urban India, of which 95% are in the economically weaker sections and low income group segment.
