Real estate developers should adopt advance construction technologies for faster execution of housing projects, realtor’s industry body. NAREDCO said the developers should adopt modern construction technologies for completing housing projects within 12 months as against nearly 30 to 36 months at present. The President of NAREDCO, Navin Raheja said, this would help in construction of housing on a massive scale and minimize the shortage of housing in coming years particularly lower income groups.
The Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary Department of Industries had said to adopt a long term vision of 100 years and beyond with a provision for in built flexibility of revision of master plan every 5 years.
