CBI raided to eleven premises in MP, Maha pertaining to housing scam

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has conducted sleuths in eleven locations Bhopal in MP and Nagpur in Maharashtra related to probe housing loan irregularities for Rs. 138.52L. Senior officials alleged that the erstwhile public sector officer and there are five local builders are also involve in this scam.
Officials added that Thirupathy Construction Pvt Ltd., Prabhakar Builders and Developers, S S Construction and Lakshmi Homes were yesterday raided for allegedly securing loan to the tune of 138.52 lakh on counterfeit documents to purchase houses in 2009-2010. The investigation agency during the sleuths has seized the relevant documents from the houses which existed only on paper in Prem Nagar locality in Khajoori Kalan area on the peripheries of the city.
The accused has been booked under the Prevention of Corruption act, 1988 for cheating forgery and criminal conspiracy, CBI official said.
