CFO of Jaypee Infratech Resigns

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Ram Bahadur Singh of Jaypee Infratech has resigned from the company due to a health issue, on Tuesday Company said.

“Singh was the director and chief financial officer of the company has resigned due to deteriorating health since last six months, form the directorship as well as from the post of a chief financial officer from the close of working hours on January 15, 2018,” Jaypee Infratech informed in BSE filing.

National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT)-appointed Insolvency Resolution Professional (IRP) has taken over Jaypee Infratech for recovery of bad loans.

A few months ago, NCLT had admitted the application by an IDBI Bank-led consortium seeking resolution for Jaypee Infratech under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.

Many players have submitted the expression of interest (EOIs), when Anuj Jain, IRP had issued a public notice on 27th of October seeking applications from entities with regard to the resolution of JIL.
