AS CIDCO HAS GAINED THE CONFIDENCE OF PAP, MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ARE SUBMITTING CONSENT LETTERS AND ANOTHER LOTTERY WILL BE DRAWN SHORTLY

Cidco officials conducted a second lottery draw for the allotment of 22.5% of land as compensation to 17 project-affected people (PAP), moving one more step forward in its ambitious international airport project. The first lottery draw for 33 PAP was conducted on August 15.
The lottery was conducted at the Mumbai office of Cidco for PAP who submitted consent letters for the compensation rehabilitation and resettlement package. The plots are earmarked for PAP at Pushpak Nagar, which is currently being developed. The PAP who received plots is from Owle, Pargain, Pargain Dungi, Dapoli and Wahal villages.
The lots were drawn by Pramod Hindurao, chairman, Cidco, in the presence of Cidco vice-chairman and managing director, Sanjay Bhatia, managing director, V Radha, directors Namdeo Bhagat, Vasant Bhoir and RC Gharat. The lottery was video graphed to ensure complete transparency. “Cidco has done away with the lacunae in the 12.5% compensation scheme for Navi Mumbai PAP and ensured that the 22.5% compensation scheme for airport PAP is error-free and transparent,” said Bhatia,
“As Cidco has gained the confidence of PAP, more and more people are submitting consent letters and another lottery will be drawn shortly,” added Bhatia.
