The authority sealed a building, Arihant Complex on CG Road and as well in some areas officials will conduct the drive. The body handed out around 60 notices throughout the day.

“We visited several commercial buildings at the CG and Ashram road and played the drums there to inform the people to pay the unpaid property taxes. We handed out around 60 notices and also sealed one complex,” Deepak Patel, AMC tax officer said.

An AMC official said, “We do not like to go to someone’s shop and play drums in front of them to remind them to pay the tax. But even after several attempts people have not paid the taxes and so we had to take this step.”
