CM Prithviraj Chavan issued stop notice to DB Realty’s project

MUMBAI: DB realty landed in a new controversy when Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan has issued stop order to its Pimpri-Chinchwad project which is 20 kilometer from Pune, this housing project has been awarded to DB Realty after winning bidding. The Chief Minister has taken this robust decision when he has received several objections from the builder.
According to the political parties particularly Shiv Sena has alleged that Goyalganga group, Mahindra Lifespace, Panchasheel Limited and Man-Ajwani Infra Construction were the real bidders for this real estate project. But in the last stage of bidding DB Realty came and won the treaty in coalition with Man-Ajwani group.
After DB Realty’s win over to bid for this project several political parties has raised the issue in the previous Assembly session. CM has assured that he will take strict action against the defaulters after an inquiry into this case. Opposition parties has alleged that company was awarded in excess FSI in the project and the slum dwellers, were not getting promised facilities, for which the project was actually framed. According to the Government officials if irregularities found in this project then project will be taken away from DB Realty.
