Commercial space sold to US school for Rs.125cr

Recently, the whole commercial complex has been bought by the 30-year-old American School of Bombay (ASB) has bought 1.4 lakh square feet of space in the 36-acre Kohinoor City, Vidyavihar, in a deal amounting to more than Rs 125 crore.
Earlier the sixty story building has been planned for commercial purpose only which has been entirely bought by the ASB.
Unmesh Joshi son of veteran political leader Manohar Joshi has promoted the 36acre township located at Vidyavihar. Approx 800 students expected to accommodate in the newly purchased building and admissions would be opened by 2012, sources said. Currently school operates from an 85,000-square-foot state-of the-art complex in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC).
