The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to provide relief to traders hit by sealing drive, it approved the changes to the city’s Master Plan, on Friday.
Regularising agricultural godowns on 12-metre wide roads, and increasing Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of local shopping complexes (LSCs) from existing 180 percent to 300 percent, these are the proposed amendments to the Master Plan.
There will be fall in conversion charge penalties from 10 times to 2 times, as per the proposed amendments.
Under these amendments, commercial activity in the basements will be allowed in all commercial areas, subject to payment of necessary charges without any discrimination, said development authority.
The decision was taken at the meeting headed by the chairman of DDA, Lt Governor Anil Baijal.
