There is a good news for the students wanting to study at Delhi. Delhi is providing many options for accommodating oneself as per individual budget.
National capital region ( NCR ) of New Delhi is witnessing a complete overhaul in the infrastructural and networking facility in the region due to the upcoming common wealth games in the later part of this year. The prices of lands and rental properties are zooming up high but finding a pocket friendly accommodation is not a difficult task for any student seeking admission at Delhi University or anywhere in Delhi.
Owners with accommodations for paying guests and others with independent rooms, are providing cheaper and affordable services for college students.
Most of such place owners are renovating their places for the various other visitors that may drop in during the Commonwealth games.
North Delhi offers a better variety of such accommodations available with facilities like hygienic food and safe drinking water, TV and Wi-Fi Connectivity, common dining hall, rooms with attached bathrooms, morning transport and power back up.
Among these areas, the accommodations at Mall Rd. are the most expensive ones ranging from Rs. 6500/- to Rs.12000/- depending upon the provided facilities.
Areas like Mukherjee Nagar and Roop Nagar, non A.C.accommodations are available in the range of Rs. 5000/- to Rs. 7000/- whereas for the A.C. accommodations, one has to pay Rs. 6000/- to Rs. 8000/-
In areas like, Hudson line, Outram line and Vijay Nagar, the charges could vary from Rs.4500/- to Rs.5500/- There are also many good hostels available for students and guests in these areas.
East Delhi in areas like Shakarpur, Laxmi nagar, Mayur Vihar, the accommodations are the cheapest throughout Delhi. The rates for a single room in these areas are as low as Rs. 3500/- Rs. 4000/- Per month. The owners are also providing various services with daily meals and 24 hrs. power back up n more.. Even the hostels here are providing cheapest accommodations along with secured environment for students.
