Demolition drive starts in Gurgaon over illegal construction

Gurgaon: The district administration and Town and Country Planning department has started the demolition drive over 195 unauthorized construction in Gurgaon as part of the anti-encroachment.
The demolition drive has been taken place in the following areas Bilaspur, Bhora Kalan, Garhi Harsaru, Sadhrana and Bhondsi. On this Tuesday 10 boundary walls and eight under-construction buildings in seven illegal colonies were demolished. Six illegal colonies were in Bhora Kalan and one was in Bilaspur. On Monday, the squad had removed around 850 illegal constructions from Bhondsi. These included 278 boundary walls, 316 level structures and 17 under-construction buildings.
Whereas, on Thursday, unauthorized structures were demolished in village Garhi Harsaru and Sadhrana. The authority razed 253 illegal constructions, comprising 12 under-construction houses and two offices of property dealers and 218 boundary walls.
