NH-24 seems to have got the ‘most wanted’ status when it comes to realty. Major projects have been launched in the NH-24 area near Ghaziabad in recent times. Projects like Crossings Republik and other integrated township projects launched on NH-24 were the preferred locations for developers in Ghaziabad. Realty players like Wave Infratech, SARE Homes, Landcraft, Ashiyana Homes, Ansal Buildwell, Aditya, Nitishree, Jaipuria, etc, have launched projects in this area.
Maximum developers are coming up with high-rise projects that will have a compilation of basic and luxurious amenities. This area has its own location advantage of being connected to the highways like NH-24 and NH-91 and is in close proximity to Raj Nagar and Kavinagar which have malls, shops, hotels, restaurants, petrol pumps, schools and colleges, and hospitals like Columbia Asia Hospital. Other facilities like a police station, a post office, bank branches and ATMs, the Ghaziabad Railway Station, an ISBT, and the proposed Metro station, etc, are easily accessible from the projects launched here. Other schools and colleges in close proximity to this area are Ryan International, Silver Line School, Gurukul School, ABES Engineering College, SIMS Management College, AKG Engineering College, New Era College, etc.
The Ghaziabad Development Authority has got the sanction to widen the NH-24 from four to six lanes. The Union surface transport ministry has also passed a proposal for three underpasses that were proposed by the GDA. The authority had recently sent a proposal to the NHAI to transfer land to the authorities. The GDA has also proposed several measures to generate funds for the Metro project. GDA’s share will come from infrastructure-development funds, re-development charges collected from commercial and residential areas along the Metro route.
