DIAL may get more from land than expected

Delhi International Airport Pvt. Ltd (DIAL), which is modernizing the Indira Gandhi International Airport, may raise INR 1,300 crore from the sale of 45 acres to developers. This is a jump of 42% from the INR 912 crore it had expected to raise from the same parcels in January. Travelers are now paying Rs.1,827 crore directly to fund the project by way of a airport development fee which is levied on each ticket.
