Due to downturn Realtors luring to NRI investors in Indian Projects

Real estate market is facing downturn so du to this realtors are trying to attract NRI investors by scheduling property exhibition for NRI’s as market expecting good business from it. Home property market severely damaged by the low sales so developers are luring to non-resident Indians NRI to increase sales. In the coming tree four months property exhibition has been scheduled in the several countries such as Dubai, London, Durban and New York and expected that it will avert the anticipated slowdown.
More than Fifty percent of the top developers from India has participated in the Indian Property Show in Dubai and showcased 250 housing and commercial projects worth $2.23 billion. Similarly property show are scheduled at London (June 24-26), Singapore (August 12-14), Doha (October 13-15) and Durban. As per market experts says there are two reasons “NRI’s would be homes in India for the emotional touch and second one is for investment purposes.”
About 70 per cent of the projects on display are residential; 30 per cent offer commercial and retail space. Some of the cities in focus are Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon, Noida and Kochi. A recent survey in Dubai revealed 62 per cent of Indians in the UAE plan to buy home in India.
