A flyover at the Times of India press junction, Malad on Western Express Highway is nearing to completion.
The work of the Three lane South bound carriageway of the flyover from Dahisar towards Bandra is in full swing and it shall be ready within next couple of months.
Starting from Kurar Nalla at Malad ( E ),The Flyover ends beyond Times of India ,Malad Press Junction on Western Express Highway. The total Length of the flyover is 456 meters and the approximate cost is Rs 30 crore.
The flyovers consist of three lane carriage- ways on each side for the smooth functioning of traffic. The Flyover will also give the motorist an advantage to skip signals and will also provide faster connectivity, thus saving travel time and thereby reducing carbon footprints. The flyover shall help smoothen the traffic flow at the Times of India junction on Western Express Highway and will save at least 10 to 15 minutes of the motorists time.
The flyover is funded by MMRDA and is being constructed by the MSRDC.
