The Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (H-RERA), Gurugram has issued a notice to the Real Estate Agents regarding application for registration specifying therein the applicability of fees on the “Sole Proprietorship” category and demanded the requisite amount of fees from the agents who have deposited fees prescribed for the individuals and functioning as sole proprietor agents.
While giving this information, an official said that the time limit for depositing the balance fees is quoted as 15 days in the notice and to facilitate the agents and to allot them enough time to prepare for the requisite fees as applicable to them, the Authority has further granted a time period of 75 days which makes it to total 90 days.
He said that in case, the agents want to convert the sole proprietorship Firm into Individual registration, a fresh application needs to be submitted with the Authority with all the required documents along with the prescribed fee of Rs. 25,000 and simultaneously, apply for cancellation of the license issued in the capacity of Sole Proprietor agent. If the required action is not taken on or before July 25, 2018, the license as a real estate agent would be deemed to be revoked subject to an opportunity of being heard, he added.
In case of any clarification, the agents could approach the Authority at its office at New PWD Rest House, Civil Lines Road, Gurugram, he added.
