Haryana Housing Board to construct 1,700 flats for BPL & EWS, registration ends on Sept 19

In order to realize the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s vision of housing for all, Haryana Housing Board is going to construct 1719 flats for people belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in developed townships/colonies of Gurugram town. In addition, Board has already floated 7533 ready to move in flats in its 21 estates for these categories.

Jawahar Yadav Chairman of the Board said that “These three-storey flats would be built in licensee colonies of Gurugram duly approved by Town and Country Planning Department and would be allocated among eligible beneficiaries on an affordable estimated price of Rs 5.85 lakh per flat. The last date for making application is September 19, 2018. The draw of lots would be held within six months of the closing date of the scheme. The construction work of these flats would be completed within two years under the self-financing scheme.”
