Himachal approves to proposals worth Rs 377 Cr

The State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SSWC & MA) have approved 12 proposals for setting up new industrial units and for expansion of existing units involving a total proposed investment of approx Rs 377.45 crores.

The meeting was held on October 22 under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.

The proposals approved by the authority includes products like food products, PVC cables, HDPE pipes, plastic products, manufacturing of cosmetic products, etc.

“The Authority approved 12 proposals for setting up new industrial units and for expansion of existing units involving a total proposed investment of approximately  Rs 377.45 crores and employment potential of about 690 persons”, an official said.

Industries Minister Bikram Singh, Chief Secretary B.K Agarwal, Secretary Industries Manoj Kumar, Labour Commissioner-cum-Director B.C Badalia, Director Industries Hans Raj Sharma, Senior Environment Engineer, HP State Pollution  Control Board Praveen Gupta was also present in the meeting.
