Himachal clears industrial proposals of Rs 309 Cr

The Himachal Pradesh Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority (SSWC & MA) approved 16 proposals for setting up new industrial units and for expansion of existing units involving a total proposed investment of approx Rs 309.45 Crore and employment potential of about 1000 persons which shows that the State continues to attract investment despite an overall slowdown in the economy.

The 16 proposals consist of Technology, Oil, Garments, Bio labs and etc.

The Authority also gave its approved new proposals of NEC Rotoflex Packaging Corporation, Cremica Food Park, Alco Spirits Private Limited and many more.

Director Industries Hans Raj Sharma conducted the proceedings of the meeting.

Industries Minister Bikram Singh, Chief Secretary B.K. Agarwal, Additional Chief Secretary cum Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr Shrikant Baldi, Additional Chief Secretary Industries Manoj Kumar, Principal Secretary Excise and Taxation J.C. Sharma, Secretary Finance Akshay Sood, Labour Commissioner S.S. Gularia, MD HPSEB Ltd. J.P. Kalta, ENC Irrigation and Public Health Vikrant Suman were present on the occasion among others.
