New Delhi: Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) in joint venture with India’s biggest construction company DLF investing around Rs.6k crore to construct a 16-lane road covering 8.3 km in Gurgaon at an investment of up to Rs 600 crore to ease heavy traffic flow in the city.
According to the sources, DLF has signed an agreement with HUDA for development NH-8 toll plaza to Sector 55-56.
The signal-free road with eight underpasses and a flyover would provide a big relief to the commuters, as commuting time from Gurgaon toll plaza to reach the Golf Course Road would be reduced from 30 minutes to 3 minutes.
As per the senior officials HUDA with DLF in joint venture would invest approx Rs.400-600crore on this project. He added that, bidding process for this project is still going on and apart from the DLF several other companies are also interested such as L&T, Punj Lloyd and Lanco have shown interest. DLF Executive Director Rajeev Talwar confirmed the development.
