Panchkula: Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) is likely to provide toll free services to residents of Haryana for their complaints.
RK Kataria administrator of HUDA said that “in the coming week we will out with the tender notification for private companies in this concern.” Previously we have a plan to start a toll free services but toll free service is a one-way traffic. But with a call center, we can deliver solutions to the customer’s complaints, he added.
HUD is likely to provide 27 kind of services and that comprises application on fresh building plan, mortgage permission, no dues certificate, paper possession, re-allotment letter, site demarcation and conveyance deed. As huge ratio of complaints are concerned to these services only.
Earlier HUDA had a plan of creating a Facebook page but it has been dropped for some reasons. “We are not scared of criticism. A part from this, we will make our website more interactive and have a facility where people can drop their comments through email directly to the concern officers. So that related officers can monitor their complaints on website,” Kataria said. Whereas Chandigarh Municipal Corporation has created the Facebook page, where complaints has been ignored no response from civic body.
In midst of the activities HUDA has started the process of online accounts creation for allottees in phased manner. The web based application includes two modules, Plot and Property Management (PPM) and Financial Accounting System (FAS) and it has been implemented in all offices.
