Kerala collects over 50% flood-affected house data, collabs with IT dept for speedy work

Panchayat Deputy Director on September 19 informed that over 50 per cent of the data collected on the floods in the district during the floods has been completed. He further added 1,68,298 houses have been reported flooded in the district out of which information collection of 84,172 homes was completed.

Scenes of 13,763 houses were completed out of which 3,408 houses were sanctioned by the Local Self Government Institutions and 2,172 applications rejected.

In the first phase, the home of the families that deserved the emergency assistance was evaluated. Most of the houses in the district were damaged.

In collaboration with the IT department, the mobile application of reimbursed Kerala will be done in cooperation with volunteers various colleges have been assured in the district.

Volunteers have started collecting photos of the house and information through Geo Tagging, an official said.

Officers in the District Collector’s Taluk level have also been appointed. Due to the GPS tracking, double the exclusion.
