A well known Hill station in Maharashtra and the most popular week end tourist destination amongst The Mumbaikars and Punekars, Lonavala, is about to get it’s first ever boutique mall with an area over 1.5-lakh square feet.The two-storeyed mall, that shall be known as Lonavala Square, would cater not only to the week-end visitors from Mumbai and Pune, but also to the local public.
The project cost of the mall is expected to be worth Rs 80 crores and the mall is expected to be operational by the mid of the year 2012.
The mall land would be leased out for three-years to the retailers. The developers of the project, Dhanlaxmi Builders, are expecting Rs 50-60 lakh per month as lease rent and Rs 35-45-lakh from non-leased activities within the first year of its operations.
The new, would be attraction of the hill town, Lonavala Square , shall have a three-screen multiplex, a 20,000-square feet family entertainment centre with high-tech rides, a bowling alley, redemption games and a multi-cuisine food court spread over 21,000 square feet with over 13 kitchens and 4 fine-dine restaurants.
