According to recent report by multi national CA firm Deloitte stated that low income urban families need 15 million homes in a price range of Rs 4-10lakh presenting an untapped opportunity of a whopping Rs 9lakhcrore for real estate developers. Statistics says that there were at least 30,500 housing units were launched below Rs 10lakh by the developers across the cities of which Gujarat has maximum number. The report also stated that there is an increase interest in supplying f housing and housing finance for the low income customers, govt. is effortlessly trying to increase the measure for the LIG and EWS to provide them affordable housing.
