Madhya Pradesh cabinet chaired by chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan increased stamp duty on sale of property by one per cent while decreasing the stamp duty on lease agreement of land `pattas’
Madhya Pradesh cabinet chaired by chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan approved amendment of section 147 of the Land Revenue Code (1959) Bill to bring under its purview institutions like banks, insurance companies and various independent corporations. Cabinet also increased stamp duty on sale of property by one per cent while decreasing the stamp duty on lease agreement of land `pattas’.
Briefing reporters after the cabinet meeting, minister for health and government spokesman Narottam Mishra said that renewal of arms licences and fees for mining lease will also be costlier. Minister of state for urban development and environment Lal Singh Arya will now head the Atal Ashray Yojana, a scheme under which the government makes homes for the economically weaker classes.
Cabinet ensured payment of 50% arrears of Fifth Pay Commission to teachers and employees working in government aided private educational institutions from April 1, 2000 to December 31, 2005. The payment will be made by October 1, 2019.
Government sanctioned 605 new posts of public prosecution field officers from the tehsil and blocks to the state levels. In addition, cabinet sanctioned 24 posts for Directorate of Public Prosecution, 438 posts for district and 143 posts for tehsil level public prosecution offices. The 24 posts for Directorate of Public Prosecution include one post each of joint director, deputy director, assistant directors and assistant superintendent. The 438 posts for district level public prosecution offices include 25 posts of assistant grade-I, 80 of grade-II and 252 of grade-III/computer operators.
Cabinet decided to create five posts for ENT department of Shyam Shah Medical College, Rewa. These include three posts of junior resident and one each of speech therapist and audiomentrist. Government decided to create 30 posts for hospital attached to Government Autonomous Homoeopathy College, Bhopal for starting post-graduation courses.
Council of ministers allotted two acre land free of cost to department of Disability Affairs of Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in Manpura tehsil of Ujjain district to establish artificial organs manufacturing plant and other disabled-related works. Eighteen new posts for newly constructed Archaeological Museum, Ujjain was also endorsed. Besides, permission was also granted to fill 14 other posts through outsourcing.
