On Saturday Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis asked senior officials and police officers to draft a plan for completing all pending projects in 2018 and 2019.
The CM’s OSD, Kaustubh Dhawase, has been tasked with coordinating with all the departments. According to a bureaucrat “Fadnavis wants ongoing projects to be completed before the 2019 Lok Sabha and assembly polls.”
Developer Satish Magar and social worker Popatrao Pawar had attended brainstorming session at CM’s office.
The performance of agriculture, sanitation, water supply, housing, home, roads, IT and skill developments was reviewed. Principal Secretary S R Sriniwas made a presentation on recent advances in the IT sector. Additional chief secretary Sudhir Shrivastava and DGP Satish Mathur spoke on the home department’s performance. Principal Secretary Ashish Singh made a presentation on roads. There was also a presentation on Jal Yukta Shivar.
CM Fadnavis also wants the home department to curb the sale of illicit liquor, take steps to increase the rate of conviction and setting up of one central school in each district for the children of police personnel.
