Maharashtra thinking for police housing projects

There are assumptions that Maharashtra government going to provide houses to police personnel, in cities such as Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik, Thane, Navi Mumbai and Pune. The land will be provided to state housing agencies CIDCO and MHADA chief minister Devendra Fadnavis said, on August 14, 2018, according to agency., Also CM Fadnavis said at a review meeting that 43 projects including 21 residential ones for police personnel, worth Rs 1,690 crores, are in progress in the state, officials informed.

According to an agency, the authorities have started issuing tenders for 5,611 projects, worth Rs 1,280 crores. These projects will be located in suburban Goregaon, Mulund and Marol in Mumbai and at Akola, Satara, Jalgaon, Thane, Beed, Nanded, Raigad, Malegaon and Osmanabad. The chief minister told the police commissioners and superintendents of police, to personally monitor and ensure speedy completion of the task to proa vide house to every police personnel, officials added.
