Maharashtra to extend all the possible support to increase investment of Swedish industries

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday said that the government will extend all possible support to increase the investment of Swedish industries in Maharashtra.

Chief Executive Officer of various Swedish companies and their representatives in Maharashtra had a meeting with Chief Minister and other officials.

During the meeting, a discussion about various infrastructure facilities offered to Swedish companies should be invested in Maharashtra.

To reduce the export tariff for the industry, the Chief Minister demanded the present industry officials to pursue the industry-oriented policy related to VAT and GST system.  The CM said that Maharashtra is leading in providing more infrastructure and important steps are being taken under the policy of is of doing business.

An official said that Swedish companies will make special efforts to increase the representation of women in the field of production, to create a large number of women entrepreneurs, and to conduct skill training for women through social liability fund of companies.

Information about these various companies in Maharashtra, investment in the environment, eco-friendly practices, their products, employment opportunities etc. These companies are prepared to cooperate with the state government regarding solid waste management and plastic recycling.
