Mr. Bandish Ajmera elected President MCHI Kalyan-Dombivili Unit
Mumbai, June 11, 2010: In a move to expand its activities beyond Mumbai, Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI), the most prominent body of real estate builders and developers, today announced setting up of MCHI Kalyan-Dombivili Unit. MCHI nominated Mr Bandish Ajmera as President and Mr Shrikant Shitole as Secretary, at the inaugural event held at Kalyan in Thane district today.
Mr Prafull Shaha and Johar Zojwala were declared the vice presidents of the proposed working committee of the MCHI Kalyan Dombivili unit. Other office bearers include Mr Rajan Jadhav (Jt Secretary), Mr Milind Kulkarni (Treasurer) and Mr Prashant Khadikar (Jt Treasurer).
Addressing the large gathering of the 116 developers from across Kalyan-Dombivili locality on the occasion, MCHI President Mr. Sunil Mantri said, “We are glad to announce a separate Unit of the MCHI in Kalyan-Dombivili, the fastest growing towns in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) with slew of developers from Mumbai setting up their huge projects in the region in the recent past, considering the future prospectus of the region”. Mr Mantri further said, “I am sure that the newly constructed MCHI Kalyan-Dombivili Unit of will strictly follow the code of conduct of the parent body MCHI in order to protect the interests of the home buyers and the developers”.
Mr Deepak Goradia, Hon Secretary, MCHI touched upon the various activities carried out by the MCHI for its members in Mumbai and suggested the newly set up unit of the MCHI to follow the same in the best interest of its members and the consumers.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Bandish Ajmera, President MCHI Kalyan-Dombivili Unit said, “Setting up of MCHI’s Unit will bridge the gap between the developers and government agencies as well as the end consumers.
Prominent MCHI office bearers also graced the occasion including Mr. Rajan Bandelkar, Jt Secretary, MCHI, Mr. Ahok Mohanani, Treasurer, MCHI and others.
Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI), formed in 1982 is the most prominent body of real estate builders and developers bringing together members dealing in real estate and construction industry on one common platform to address issues facing the industry.
