Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Rajendra Rathore on August 25 reviewed the progress of divisional schemes in Udaipur district and directed officials to complete the 92,323 incomplete work of Prime Minister’s housing scheme.

In the meeting, Rathod directed to complete the progressive work and start the sanctioned works immediately. He expressed displeasure at the acceptance of 448 crore work in the division so far. He directed the department officials to start all these works till the end of September. They said that there should not be any reason for a delay in getting the sanctioned work started.

He also said that the state government had organized the Deendayal Upadhyay lease distribution camps and released more than 1, 21 thousand residential leases across the Udaipur division and gave their constitutional rights to the common man.

Rajasthan is the eleventh ODF state of the country. Proper efforts are being made to maintain the continuity of the ODF in the state, he said.
