MMRDA invites tenders to construct elevated viaduct and stations

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has put two more Metro rail projects – DN Nagar to Mankhurd Metro-2B and Wadala to Kasarvadavali Metro-4 – on fast track and has invited tenders to design and construct elevated viaducts and stations.

The Authority has invited tenders from eligible contractors for 5 packages on the 23.5-km long DN Nagar to Mankhurd Metro-2B corridor (Rs.10,986 crore). The 5 packages are – ESIC Nagar to Khira Nagar, Saraswat Nagar to ILFS in BKC, MTNL Metro to Chembur, Diamond Garden to Mandale (Depot) and for designing and constructing elevated viaducts for railway crossings near Kurla on Central Railway and near Lokmanya Tilak Terminus.

The tenders to design and construct elevated viaduct and stations on the 32-km long Wadala to Kasarvadavali (Rs.14,549 crore) are also invited for 5 packages. These 5 packages are – Wadala to Amar Mahal Junction, Garodia Nagar to Surya Nagar, Gandhi Nagar to Sonapur, Mulund Fire Station to Majiwada and Kapurbawdi to Kasarvadavali.

The tender documents will be available at from January 9 to March 8, 2017 up to 6 pm on payment of non-refundable Tender Processing Fee of rupees one lakh which is inclusive of 5% MVAT.

While the pre-bid meeting will be held on January 31, 2017 at 11 am; the last date for submission of tender documents is March 10, 2017 up to 6 pm.
