MMRDA to set up an art and culture centre in the island city

As far as the cultural and artistic activities are concerned, the Mumbaikars may have one more strong reason to cheer about.

The city soon shall have an artistic and cultural hub at one of it’s business districts in the city. The town planning authority of the city, MMRDA, which owns acres of land at Bandra Kurla Complex and Wadala, plans to tie up with India Habitat Centre of Delhi to set up a similar centre in the city.

Spread over nine acres in The national capital, The India Habitat Centre is a cultural and artistic hub in Delhi where theatre, dance, music and other art related workshops and other activities are held.

MMRDA is planning to approach the state Government  to grant the permission for the same.
