Prime Minister Narendra Modi stamps quiet a change in his cabinet re-shuffling his cabinet ministers majorly. Modi has 19 new faces in his Union Council of Ministers. These are P P Chaudhary, Subhash Ramrao Bhamre, M J Akbar, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Anil Madhav Dave, Ramesh Jigajinagi, Parshottam Rupala, Jasvantsinh Bhabhor, Mahendra Nath Pandey, Faggan Kulaste, Vijay Goel, Anupriya Patel, Mansukh Mandaviya, S S Ahluwalia, Rajen Gohain, C R Chaudhary, Ajay Tamta, Ramdas Athawale and Krishna Raj.

Nitin Gadkari major gainer; retains portfolio

Portfolio allocation (MoS): SS Aluhwalia given agriculture and farmers welfare, parliamentary affairs department

Portfolio allocation (MoS): Ramdas Athawale given social justice and empowerment department

Portfolio allocation (MoS): Anupriya Patel gets Health and family welfare, Ajay Tamta given textiles department

Sadananda Gowda given Statistics and Programme implementation

Hansraj Gangaram given MoS Home affairs, Ramesh Chandappa Jigajinagi gets MoS Drinking Water and Sanitation Department

Inderjit Singh gets Urban Development Ministry

Arjun Meghwal gets MoS, Finance

Arun Jaitley loses I&B, retains Finance Ministry, Corporate Affairs
