On Friday, Madhya Pradesh Governor, Anandiben Patel said that the government will provide a plot or a house to every homeless family in the state.
Patel at the state-level Republic Day function at Lal Parade Ground here said that, “A campaign is being launched in the state from today to provide a plot (or house) to every entitled homeless family.”
“In the urban areas, 10 lakhs houses would be constructed by 2022 and where as in rural areas, there is a target of constructing 15 lakh houses under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana (PMAY) by next year,” Governor said.
She said, the state government is going to launch seven new medical colleges in the state along with establishing super speciality centres at Gwalior, Rewa and Jabalpur.
The MP governor also highlighted the governments achievement in smart city, road network, development, employment etc.
