New Industrial Policy: Setting up industries in time frame for planned industrialisation should be ensured

Minister of Industry and State Enterprises Parsadi Lal Meena said that setting up of industries in the form of industry city should be the first priority without the objective of providing land for industries through the Riico for planned industrialisation.

He also directed to run the campaign of mutual disputes in Riico Industrial areas of the state and also to settle the matter. He explained that while simplifying the procedures in the new industrial policy, investment-oriented-employment-oriented will be emphasized so that more employment opportunities are available in the state as well as increasing investment.

Minister was holding a review meeting of the Department of Industry and related entities in the secretariat on Saturday.   Meena instructed, the industries to make use of the land made available to the industries for the establishment of industries and to make a procedure for making land available for more industries.

He asked the industrial areas to focus on the expansion and maintenance of necessary infrastructure. While discussing mutual disputes in the industrial areas, he instructed them to settle disputes by organizing camps on the spot. Meena emphasized the establishment of industries in the fixed time frame on the proposed plots in other industrial areas including Mahendrabala City.

Additional Chief Secretary Dr Subodh Agrawal informed about the expansion of the industrial scenario in Rajasthan. He said that there is the immense potential of investing in the state and making every effort to exploit it will emphasize industrialization.

The Chief Government Secretary MSME Alok said that the availability of land and the scope of basic facilities can be given protection and comfort to MSME industries and traditional industries.
