On June 13, while addressing builders and developers at a conference , the Chief Minister of Maharashtra ,Devendra Fadnavis restated that there will be no extension in dates for registration of ongoing projects, beyond July 31, under Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).
“As far as the appointed date for registration is concerned, I fully endorse the view of Maharashtra RERA chairman Gautam Chatterjee,” the Chief Minister said.
The government gave the builders a 90-day span to register the new and ongoing projects with RERA, which ends on July 31. The CM assured the builders that the government will be indulgent and tolerant, for two years.
