The DDA scheme got a lukewarm response contrary to its fanfare launch in June. DDA officials are, however, hopeful that they will be able to dispose of all the flats, especially LIG/one-bedroom ones. “We have got the desired number of applications for the flats. We will get thaw final figure by Tuesday and are hopeful that all the flats will be sold this time,” said a senior DDA official.

“Under the revised clause, if a person withdraws within 15 days of the issue of demand letter, then no penalty would be levied. For next 15 days, he/she will have to pay 10% penalty. The allottee will have to forfeit 50% of the earnest money if he/she withdraws within 90 days of the issue of demand letter,” said a senior official.
