Housing projects in Noida has received a severe setback from the Allahabad Court as it has passed a judgment imposing stay on 802 acres of land. The court has also cracked down on the district administration for not complying the registered and unregistered land in region. Many projects and developers are likely to be hampered with the decision as thousand of projects are into pipeline.
The court has also made it clear to the administration not to permit anyone to change the nature of land and also to interfere in possession of land by farmer so basically it is a kind of relief to them. The judgment has been passed hearing the petitions of farmers who claimed that their land has been wrongly taken and now administration has sold the land to builders for personal purpose paying only 10% as first installments. One of the farmers said,’’ if they want to settle the confusion they take away their installments and return the plots back.
