If you are searching to buy a house in Thane, you won’t find it difficult as it will be available on your Android phone.
The Thane Municipal Corporation is going to make it compulsory for every builder in the city to publish a QR code on the realty project’s advertisement. Once the code is scanned by the prospective buyer, the TMC website will make relevant information available to him. “We will make it compulsory for all builders to publish the QR code in their advertisements,” said Aseem Gupra, municipal commissioner.
Along with this, the Thane civic body will also launch its own mobile application to enable residents to file a complaint about any civic woks in their area. The TMC plans to spend Rs92lakh on this ambitious project.
“The QR code is one of the first steps towards modernizing the dissemination of information. Most residents have Android phones and an internet connection. This process will save the consumer’s time and money,” said Gupta.
