Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal, has accorded administrative approval amounting to over Rs 17.67 crore for the construction of new road and widening and strengthening of existing roads in the State.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Public Works (Building and Roads) Department said that over Rs 7.69 crore has been approved for the improvement of Gurgaon-Farrukhnagar-Jhajjar road in district Gurugram.
He said that while a sum of over Rs 4.37 crore has been approved for widening and strengthening of NH-65 (New NH-152) Ambala-Hisar road from km. 22.100 to 24.300in district Ambala, over Rs 3.19 crore has been approved for the construction of a new road from village Shahpur to Kati Ghati up to Rajasthan border in district Nuh and over Rs 2.42 crore for special repair of new bye-pass at Kaithal connecting with Jind-Kaithal road to Kaithal-Khanouri road in district Kaithal.
