PMAY: Maharashtra soon to complete its target

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY), out of seven thousand 896 households sanctioned in rural areas, six thousand 37 homes have been completed. The remaining should be completed by December, CM said on Monday.

The Chief Minister was speaking at a meeting of Krishna-Marathwada project and offered 1600 crores for it. The meeting was organized by the District Review meeting organized by the District Collectorate, State Rural Development Minister and Guardian Minister and many others.

Under the Prime Minister’s Urban Housing Scheme, 19 thousand 644 households have been targeted in the municipal area of the district. By increasing the speed of these work is to complete the goal by 2019 and the state & central government will provide the necessary funds for this.

Over 52 schemes have been approved under the CM Rural Drinking Water Program and under the National Rural Drinking Water Program, the DPR of 300 small schemes should be started. Also, in order to ensure water supply to the citizens of the city, the Chief Minister said that the work of water tanks should be completed in full swing.
