Indore, March 14, 2017: As decided earlier 350 locations were proposed to have a hike of 15%, stated by the district registrar. But the proposal was revised by the collector, P. Narahari and the mentioned guidelines are the property rates will only rise up to 5%. The new property registration will commence and implemented from April 1st, 2017.
The new property registration is set to be implemented in 322 locations as declared on March 11th, 2017, Saturday, after a detailed thorough discussions and analysis. According to the new rule, there will also be no increase in the property rate of agricultural land.
As states by the district authorities, almost 950 locations do not have any single case of property registered. Hence, the lessen property rates will be initiated in coming fiscal year expecting a betterment in the number.
