Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on August 30 launched PUDA 360, an e-property module to facilitate online property transactions, thus bringing greater efficiency and transparency in the functioning of Punjab Urban Planning & Development Authority (PUDA).
CM said that “The application would go a long way in providing seamless services to the people related to property matters. The online process would also make the e-auction more convenient and give a common platform to the promoters/builders/individuals for advertising their projects/properties online.”
PUDA 360 would also help in checking delays in sanction of Building Plans, issuance of No Objection Certificate, issuance of Conveyance Deed and Transfer of Property etc. At present all these services are currently offered offline.
Housing and Urban Development Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa informed the Chief Minister that module would be web-based and would also be available as an app both on Android and iOS.
The module would also act as an advertising medium for the promoters and builders who, by registering on it, would be able to publicize their projects. Besides, the promoters and the individuals could also avail the facility of selling/renting/leasing out their properties by posting information of their property on the module, the Bajwa added.
He said complete details like the nature of the property i.e. residential or commercial, plots or flats, area and location, the name of the builder or owner, the status of RERA registration etc would be uploaded on the module.
